A Sight for Sore Eyes...

It's been forever since I posted last and in all honesty, I just got extremely lazy. And I had writer's block. And I found the gloriousness that is Cyclomaniacs and Farmville.
I'll try to sum up the last four months in four paragraphs.

September: GMAT Studying put on the back-burner to make way for more urgent and pressing issues. Like finding a job and figuring out what to do with my existence.

October: Got in a big fight with dad over a harmless comment I made. Snarky emails ensued. Forced to pay $550 in rent come January first. Threatened to move out. Made plans to move out. Scrambled to do my 18 hours of community service from the traffic ticket received back in May. Finished community service the day before it was due. Impressive, I know.

November: Finalized plans to move out. Got a call for a job interview in Orange County. Spent $250 of my own money to fly down to Orange County for job interview. Saw New Moon while I was in Orange County. Also sold my Nikon D80 *tear* for tires for my car so that I could move out to Houston. Never moved out. Patched things up with dad. Sort of.

December: Applied for jobs like a mad woman because of impending rent. Waited with baited breath to hear about Orange County job. Got an email that job had been frozen until the New Year. 28th Birthday rolled around. Enjoyed a B-day lunch with dad and Avatar 3D. Got my nose pierced as a B-day present to myself. Scraped together money for Christmas presents. Spent New Years Eve in bed with the flu.

And now we're here in January 2010! Another decade gone and eventually forgotten. Where does the time go? Here's hoping that 2010 brings with it a fabulous new job, new friends, new lovers, new travel destinations, and new shoes!

I know you missed me and my musings so I'll do my best to update regularly.

Peace & Love
